Safe basic checks
Minor issues can often be identified without a service visit. Begin with a visual check and never force a window or shading product. Leave work that requires removing a sash or opening a housing to a technician.
Gently press the sash against the frame with both hands and try to return the handle to the horizontal position without force.
If the sash is hanging or the handle still does not move, stop and request service.
Check the frame groove for dirt, a small stone or another obstruction. Clean the frame and seals and note where the sash rubs.
Do not remove the sash. If a small adjustment is needed, use the illustrated Slovenian guide or contact service.
Illustrated window adjustment guide (SL)Wipe visible hardware with a soft cloth. Use only a small amount of suitable resin- and acid-free lubricant on the designated moving surfaces.
Carry out maintenance at least once a year and do not dismantle the hardware.
Clean seals with lukewarm water and a mild cleaner. Keep the drainage openings in the lower frame clean and unobstructed.
If a seal is cracked, permanently deformed or missing, send us a photograph so we can identify the correct replacement.
Check the sill, guide rails and bottom rail for obstructions. Do not operate a frozen or snow-covered shutter.
For a motorised unit, allow the motor to cool and try only once more. Do not pull the slats or open the housing.
Roller shutter instructions (SL)Stop operation immediately. Check that the bottom rail can move freely and that there is no ice, snow or visible obstruction.
Do not straighten the slats by force or change motor limits yourself. Request service if the blind remains crooked.
External blind instructions (SL)Stop the movement and check that the path of the bottom rail is clear. Do not pull the fabric or push it back into the guide.
If the fabric has left the guide, is damaged or stops again, request service.
Screen instructions (SL)Clean stones, insects and dirt from the guides. Move roller and pleated screens evenly by the profile, never by pulling the mesh.
If the mesh leaves the guide, the cord is damaged or the frame is bent, stop using it and request service.
